(For much more info on Sempatico please visit Silverwood Farm)

Samber, Sempatico’s great grandsire passed his 100 day performance test in 1979, with a 10 for character and temperament, and he gained an overall 160.2 points and an A Certificate. Samber proved himself in competition in the early to mid eighties and reached Grand Prix level in dressage and Z level (BSJA Grade A) in showjumping.

Notes on Rianna’s  Pedigree:

Blue Blood’s (Rianna’s sire) pedigree is quite unique~he is the perfect blend of Warmblood, Shagya Arabian, and Thoroughbred breeding.

Blue Blood, is a grand sons of the infamous G. Ramiro Z., a Holsteiner by birth, who was labelled "Stallion of the Century."  He was conceived in Holstein, born in Westfalia, licensed in Neumunster, and was an international jumper under Fritz Ligges.   Ramiro himself was tremendously successful at showjumping, with many wins in Nations Cups, Puissance and international Grand Prix competitions.  Ramiro influences nearly all European performance studbooks.  It is impossible to underestimate Ramiro's influence on Dutch Warmblood breeding, or to catalog the success of his many, many outstanding offspring.  To name just a handful of the hundreds, are Ratina Z, the gold medal showjumping winner at Barcelona and the World Cup winner in 1992, as well as the approved stallions Rinaldo, Rio Negro (a Grand Prix dressage horse trained by Willi Schultheis), Ronald (long the most popular Holstein stallion, having himself sired five approved sons), Renard, Zeoliet and Damiro (all of whom have sired approved sons), Armstrong, Bernstein, Dageraad, Elmero B and Horatio, among others.  Ramiro progeny also excel in dreassage, for example Rampal and Lectron.

Renard also sired Pr St Renaissance, dam of Dunhill H an international Grand Prix dressage stallion who began his successful career by winning his performance test with an impressive score of 147.69.

Another influential Shagya is Gazal VII. Gazal VII was head stallion at the Babolna Stud for many years and was imported into Germany in the 1960's. He and several of his sons and grandsons have stood at the Hanoverian State Stud at Celle and were also used for Trakehners, Holsteiners, and Westphalians. Gazal VII  sired 19 approved German stallions including the well known Hannoverian Stallion, Czardas.

Domino (son of Samber) carries on the performance tradition of his ancestors with his amazing show record. In recognition of his success in the hunter ring, in 2004 the NA/WPN (North American Dutch Warmblood Society) recognized Domino as a Foundation Hunter Sire. At that time, he was one of only three stallions recognized based on performance.
